Who is the Frugal Decorator?

As an ex-executive wife, moving 22 times in 20 years, I have painted and decorated a lot of homes for myself, as well as family and friends. Working in the fashion and buying industry for years, I have always had natural eye for style, lines and color. Being on the creative side but somehow always on a tight budget when moving, I had to learn how to make my home beautiful and cozy without spending a lot.

I started faux painting and decorating in 2002 for a friend to get her house ready to put on the market. Her friend saw it and asked me to paint for her also.  Then it snowballed into a fun little side job I did on weekends. From there everyone told me I needed to start my own business so I did. From humble beginnings to a thriving business I have two main goals. Make my customers a priority, not my contractors and vendors, and to have fun searching for great deals.

Although educated in business not interior design, my customers assure me I am just as good and a lot less expensive than the ASID and CID designers they have worked with.

I am a seasoned 10 year decorator with a natural knack for creating great spaces on a budget.  I now design and create rooms from top to bottom often working one room at a time to stay within what my customers can afford. My experience has allowed me to build a great contracting team with whom I work to handle complete remodels or minor renovations as needed.  I do everything from residential to light commercial including bathroom and kitchen remodels and room additions. 

No job is to large or small to tackle. My commercial and residential clients are amazed at the savings we have a achieved.
